On March 31 the Saxon Secretary of State for Environment and Agriculture Thomas Schmidt called in at albis-elcon Hartmannsdorf for a brief talk on the future of the business location. The Secretary, who advocates for support of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and bureaucracy reduction, was given an overview of the business development, challenges and prospects of albis-elcon.

Werner Neubauer, CEO at albis-elcon, gave an insight in the strategic market advantages due to the merger between Albis Technologies and ELCON Systemtechnik, the successful business development in South America and demonstrated the technology highlight Remote Powering System.
