Grooming Switch for the ULAF+ access and aggregation platform
The AG7860A is a new and cost-effective solution for transmitting many different data types, including traditional circuit-based traffic, over a packet-based transportation network. Circuit Emulation technologies supported by AG7860A are CESoPSN (Nx64K), SAToP (Unframed E1/T1), and CEP (SDH/SONET Circuit Emulation over Packet). AG7860A supports Carrier Ethernet (EPL, EVPL, ELAN, EVC defined in MEF) for packet transportation and can be used in various network architectures like hub, ring or mesh.
The compact AG7860A is only 1U heigh, supports an extended temperature range and provides carrier grade availability and reliability.
