Faster, more powerful, more reliable: with the new ACCEED 4630 Carrier Ethernet Edge Aggregation Device, albis-elcon is developing a further business access network device for the 4000 series in the “Business Access and Backhaul” product line.
The development of the new ACCEED 4630 results from the reaction to the increasing market demand for network solutions with higher bandwidth and as many 10G interfaces as possible for individual aggregation purposes. Telco operators need for their business and wholesales customers reliable and powerful business access that guarantees the provision of business services as well as of 5G fronthauling and backhauling networks. However, this need does not only exist in large, international companies. Even smaller internet service providers or supply companies need adequate products for network aggregation.
With the new ACCEED 4630, albis-elcon offers a compact solution for the business customer’s needs: with 174 Gbps full duplex switching over the 14 1G and 16 10G interfaces, it ensures very fast network access and reliable 5G fronthaul and backhaul. It also supports protected Ethernet aggregation, wholesale interconnect and individually adaptable utility solutions. In direct comparison to the competition, the ACCEED 4630 scores with very low consumption and high performance at the same time.
Like all ACCEED models, the ACCEED 4630 also benefits from an ACCEED OS, including all known functions, specially tailored to the product family. These include, for example, zero touch provisioning, MI service management, NETCONF/YANG, performance monitoring and a resiliency with sub-50ms convergence time. As usual, the new ACCEED Carrier Ethernet services are also based on the most recent MEF standards.
All applications and product features are mentioned detailed in the preliminary product data sheet.
